Situated in the Bay of Bengal, these islands have coral reefs, white sand beaches, mangrove forests and tropical forests. This place is a hot spot for water activities and sports. So if you are looking for an adventure under the water, this is the place to be.

Andaman and Nichobar

Port Blair is the apparent capital of this region. There are innumerable beaches here and all of them are prettier than the previous. Radhanagar beach is a palm lined beach famous for diving and coastal swimming.

The serene view of deep blue water and the reflections in it are a sight to behold. Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is a protected coral reef reserve. You can catch a glimpse of coral deposits and also find a number of aquatic animals and reptilian wildlife in this Park.

3. Manali- Hill station to visit in December

If you want to experience winter in its full glory and witness snowfall in the month of December then Manali is where you should be. It is perfect get away for the people who want to visit europe but can’t. 

Manali is a hill station town in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh. The temperature here in December ranges from 3°c to -6°c and the whole landscape is covered with glorious white snow.

The iconic Rohtang La pass, which many of us might remember from the movie ‘Jab We Met’, is also situated here. It is a high mountain pass on the eastern end of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It connects Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. 

The Gulaba valley has snow capped mountains suitable for treks and snow sports such as snow skating and snowboarding. It is one of the most famous tourist spots in Manali.

4. Alibaug- Place to Visit in December

Alibaug is a coastal town situated near Mumbai in the Western State of Maharashtra. It is famous for its beaches and forts. This place offers lavish to affordable resorts and cottages which makes it a fun travel destination.

Alibaug has a tropical climate throughout the year, so if you’re trying to escape the wrath of winter, then you take shelter in this coastal town for a while. 

Alibaug has a number of forts and fort ruins. Kulaba Fort, Underi fort ruins which is a fortified fort island, Korlai Fort which is a historic Portuguese fort and island and Sagargad Fort which is a hilltop fort with greenery and scenic view.  A gentle walk of 2 hours from the village of Khandale can reach us up to the fort. There are innumerable forts located in Alibaug. 

The famous Alibaug Beach has a number of water sports and camel rides available. Varsoli beach is also a famous hub for water sports. Khandheri Island is a famous island famous for the historic fort and the iconic lighthouse.
