4. Alibaug- Place to Visit in December

Alibaug is a coastal town situated near Mumbai in the Western State of Maharashtra. It is famous for its beaches and forts. This place offers lavish to affordable resorts and cottages which makes it a fun travel destination.

Alibaug has a tropical climate throughout the year, so if you’re trying to escape the wrath of winter, then you take shelter in this coastal town for a while. 

Alibaug has a number of forts and fort ruins. Kulaba Fort, Underi fort ruins which is a fortified fort island, Korlai Fort which is a historic Portuguese fort and island and Sagargad Fort which is a hilltop fort with greenery and scenic view.  A gentle walk of 2 hours from the village of Khandale can reach us up to the fort. There are innumerable forts located in Alibaug.
